Oshkosh Man Sentenced to Federal Prison

WAUTOMA, Wis (WAUH)- The 44-year-old Oshkosh man that requested someone from another country sexually abuse a child and record it was sentenced Thursday to 13 years in federal prison followed by 7 years of extended supervision. 

According to a court document Bradley Hounsell used the internet between November 4^th and November 8^th, 2023 for the purpose of transporting child pornography.

He spoke with someone in the Philippines over social media, paying them to sexually abuse a 13-year-old girl and send him videos of it happening. He was charged with coercing and enticing a minor to engage in unlawful sexual conduct.

Hounsell was employed as a correctional officer with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections prior to his arrest.

The case was investigated by the FBI with the assistance of the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office.
