Shooting in Beaver Dam

RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- Beaver Dam Police are looking for a suspect who shot a man in the 300 block of North Spring Street early this morning.

Officers on the scene provided the initial first aid to the victim. Beaver Dam Fire and EMS took over when they arrived. The victim was taken to Marshfield Medical Center and later flown to the UW Hospital in Madison in serious but stable condition.

Witnesses saw the suspect flee the scene on foot. Police were assisted by Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies and Beaver Dam Fire and EMS. The incident was reported shortly before 1 am.
