RIPON, Wis (WRPN) – Orders are being taken for the Ripon Rotary Club’s annual fruit sale. You can buy California oranges, Texas grapefruits, mixed fruit, or pears.
Bob Amsden coordinates the sale for the club. The money raised from the sale goes toward the club’s charitable efforts which include various high school organizations, the Dolly Parton Imagination Library/Ripon Reads, the Rotary Youth Exchange and World Affairs Seminar scholarships.
Amsden says they’ve also given to the Boys & Girls Club of the Tri-County Area and the STRIVE program that guarantees high school success.
Order forms for the sale can be found in today’s edition of the Ripon Commonwealth Press. You can also order online at the club’s website. The deadline for ordering is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
Pick up for the fruit is Thursday, Dec. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Homan Ford and Chrysler in Ripon. For information about the sale, call 920-602-0580.
